Seems good to me, though people have such a limited attention span for content that you might want to see if you can squeeze what you want into maybe like 10 seconds or something if possible. A lot probably won't watch the whole thing.

I guess it's a trope - world-ending stakes. Little self-contained stories can be fine, but when it's fantasy, it just doesn't seem right unless the world is going to end and the MC has to fix it.

Also the big bad "dark lord" when done well is always good.

Not a fan of the chosen one though.

It's this one: www.goodreads.com/book/show/22...

Will do a follow-up at some point, but focusing on another story for now.

Only want a few copies, not these mass things which you need to order like 100

Saw that a while ago. Is it more story-based, or more of just a casual endless thingy?

It's epic fantasy. So wizards and monsters and world-ending stakes. All that jazz.

Good luck. It's a soul-destroying slog at times.

I've tried e-books (got one on sale too), they're great for some people, especially to save space, but for me it just can't compare to a physical book in my hands. Plus, going and browsing a book shop and buying something new, is far more enjoyable than clicking and d/loading something to a tablet.

No worries. Just pick a handful of things that are actually relevant to the story you want to tell and you can go deeper on those, while leaving the others much more shallow. And yeah, just make sure you're consistent with the things you mention. Good luck

Essentially, you want to go for the "tip of the iceberg" approach. You can pepper in mentions of all sorts of things which aren't fleshed out - history, politics, religions, etc.. But you only need to "know" the tip of the iceberg. It will appear to the reader that there's much more beneath the tip.
