Thanks for amplifying @justiceconnection.bsky.social. Glad the WaPost editorial board published it. Unfortunately, they edited out one important point:
Omitted from the published letter- Omitted from the published letter- "The editorial also implies that recipients risk losing federal funding based on disparities they 'may not even know about.' Title VI and its regulations do not permit that outcome. The statute requires notice, an opportunity for a recipient to come into voluntary compliance, and a formal process to contest any determination. That the current Administration often ignores this process is no reason to jettison these standards."
