Got it. I have no idea how quickly this happened in the past.

They should set it up so that old administration URLs take you to a notice saying “the content you’re looking for may be available from NARA here [link].” That would require some allegiance to the idea of consistency of government.

My (very limited) understanding: it’s standard practice for each administration’s website to be archived by NARA. I think you should be able to find the statement/press release here: www.archives.gov/presidential...

I don’t know if/when search engines catch up, but it seems like they should.
