There are only so many times you get to use the term "cult classic" with regards to board games but it's appropriate for Magical Athlete.

It's a lighter game, but the appeal here is similar to Cosmic Encounter -- just a pure celebration of modular rules bouncing around & colliding with each other.

I'm very envious that @cmyk.games has brought back Magical Athlete (gosh I wanted to). Games like this (and, quite frankly, Thunder Road: Vendetta) showcase that "roll and move" isn't inherently a bad thing. I also love the retro vibe illustration approach. I can't wait to try this new edition.
