Went to an Irish pub for my father's birthday (or the closest thing to it in Oklahoma). Great food, great music. My parents were very pleased. Sadly, they had a half-sized menu because they were having trouble sourcing ingredients in the current economy. Scotch eggs, bangers & mash, shepherd's pie.

This is the culprit who tried to bite delivery man a couple of days ago. I can't stay mad at her. She just too cute and sweet. But I think we are going to take an obedience class.

I completed this LEGO Tokyo Skyline tonight.

In the background, the LEGO Statue of Liberty can been seen. Unfortunately, it's missing a couple of bricks, so I've sent off for those.

While sitting around convalescing from the broken foot, I discovered a fun little manga series called 'Zeikin de Katta Hon' ('Books Bought with Taxes'). It's a charming slice-of-life series about a young delinquent who gets a part-time job at a public library. (Also has cute librarians.)

LEGO Notre-Dame is complete! It now occupies a place of honor on our mantle.

Current state of the build. Four bags left!

Been building the LEGO Notre Dame Cathedral set while I'm laid up with a fractured foot. It was a gift for Administrative Assistant's Day, but completion has been delayed by missing parts.

Although 'toons make it look easy, having a piano dropped on you is actually really painful.

Technically, I could have requested another round of shabu, I just couldn't eat any more.

Shabu-shabu style hot pot is amazing. A friend of mine has opened a shabu-shabu restaurant in Edmond, OK called U Shabu. It is amazing.

Went to their opening night and had literally the best meal I've had in years.

She's definitely up to something.
