Just three counties are responsible for almost all #Maryland transfers: Frederick, Harford, and Cecil counties. All three operate under a cooperation agreement with ICE known as the “287(g) program.”

Since Trump returned to office, #Maryland sheriffs have transferred 119 people from county jails to ICE.

That’s 5% of all ICE arrests in the state and among the highest rates in the country, according to an exclusive data analysis.
