Obviously, the kid could have changed, but the descriptions I heard from "witnesses", this ain't it.
I am just having a hard time with the distance. 200 yards, even 150 isn't an average shot distance w/wind. The fact the suspect is a "college aged kid", 18-22, Idk just wierd.

And there it is. This makes the most sense. Just got him out of Tacoma for the possibility of this move. Also, both players are in Sacramento now, so it couldn't be easier, really.

But its just too much. Its taxing on the body, especially to be a starter. The point I was making is, imo, ohtani the hitter is WAY more valuable than anything.

Just have not understood why they want him to pitch so bad....so much more valuable as a hitter. It would be one thing if they wanted him to be a closer 2-3 days a week.

If he is going to DH or platoon at 1B, a couple things would be confusing.
1. It doesn't lengthen the lineup because you would take out Polanco or Naylor
2. Why go get Naylor if you're going to platoon?
I just get a feeling something else is up but feel like we would of heard it already.

My guess is AZ is going to hold out and see if they get a desperate offer for Suarez. He very well could still come to Seattle but AZ was happy with the comp for just Naylor. Seattle would of wanted to make sure they got at least one, so they do this for now.
