Mike Johnson’s abrupt closure of the House had more to do with stalling a congressional investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation than previously reported, and it appears to have been a direct response to the Treasury’s surrender of Epstein’s financial records.

I’d probably make that deal given Skenes’ age and performance. I’d try to give up only Sproat or Tong and maybe see if you can give them an established starter (Senga?) with $. But if they insisted on both, I’d pull that trigger. Skenes is a gamechanger and you have to give to get.

My Mom was a pediatrician & pioneer on autism. In the ‘90s, she suggested separating the MMR out of an abundance of caution.

When she retired in the mid-aughts, she told me she had no issues with my boys getting the MMR as the evidence was conclusive.

This came from a skeptic.

I am a taxpayer and have already petitioned my county board to direct our chief of police to create this task force in my area.

There is an excellent model already that the LAPD used in South Central to focus Police protection on communities.

I prefer substance over snark.

If you’re going to stand up, STAND UP.

Stop depending on unarmed citizens with iPhones to do the hard work of protecting residents, and create an Illinois State Police task force dedicated to ensuring DHS uses due process, and are who they say they actually are.

Fight illegality with the law.

Incredibly disturbing. State, city, and local police in blue areas should be focused on serving-and-protecting residents against DHS and criminal copycat illegality, not aiding-and-abetting their activities.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov needs to start putting more substance with his rhetorical style.
