to start drawing like me you have to be able to synthesize an actual functioning living eyeball from scratch in a lab

finally, here's my initial method vs the correct method. huge difference in that background that I did not realize and is quite obvious in hindsight

EGG ON MY FACE, realized the method I used isnt fully perceptual either! if you want REAL grayscale you should download this rizadraws.gumroad.com/l/uovjiy, install it (right click the file theres an install button), then load it via View -> Color Profiles -> Preview settings

IMPORTANT: if you're gonna do this in other software, make sure your method of grayscaling is perceptual! if your method ends up like the one on the left it will make your actual painting look wildly different from the grayscale version

(2/2)

3)copy a color noise image (or anything you wish to base your palette on) into your clipboard

4) mix between pasting and then eyedropping the noise image to sample desired values (with underlying random colors), then undoing the paste right after, and eyedropping the painting itself to taste

how I did this in CSP (might be easier ways) (1/2)

1) black layer set to color the layer youre gonna paint on

2) set your eye dropper to pick up the color of the layer youre on
