The US has been pillaging other countries specifically developing countries for decades. For goodness sake what do you think the IMF and World Bank do through Structural Adjustment? We've also been involved in bloodless coups where oil is concerned. We are not the good guys. Not by a long shot.

Yeah, if you think that's bad don't look at their employment protections. They still have language in them regarding sheep herding. A few years ago there was no pay for jury duty and some companies would demand you take PTO. That may have changed, but I don't work in NYC anymore.
