Wondering how perverse our consumption of the ocean can get? seafoodsource.com just reported ONE bluefin tuna was bought for $1.3 million this month, and that in 2019 one was bought for $3 million. The buyer "regretted paying such a high price..but..has continued to get mentions in national media.."

As 2024 comes to a close...I'm remembering the loss of our dear friend, scientific colleague, the pioneer of IMTA - Integrated Multitrophic Aquaculture - Prof. Dr. Thierry Chopin.
