I made my ENTIRE senior project using blender, from the storyboard (before the update) to the editing, and of course the animation itself. While I think there's definitely a learning curve, theres a million tutorials on youtube for literally everything it offers. Plus free and open source :)

And here are the two animations! I've been experimenting with animating with physics using the Wiggle 2 add-on in #blender as well as animating in 2s. I think it helps add a retro feel to my #lowpoly character. 👾
