Because I'm in group chats where some of these people were expressing opposite sentiments as recently as a few weeks ago.

If someone was vehemently against something with such furvor and then changed their outward stance on it without any explanation or acknowledgement of that change I find that to come off as very disingenuous.

You can change your mind any time but at least explain the reasoning for the change.

It's really strange that the same people who only a few years ago were outraged that an artist was drawing questionable shit are commissioning another that is doing the exact same thing
