It's been a minute, so things might be different. Crealty seems the longest running (watch a high school friend break his, clogged the filament line with a non-compat. file), and the later person who had them got ELEGOO ones, I believe both resin & curer, and filament, and had decent success.

Resin seemed like it took more work, with more detail. The objects are more brittle, especially before curing, so small, unsupported pieces (swords, their experience) broke often. The resin is also aromatic, so it may require an unoccupied space or good ventilation, and the curing can be fiddly.

While I don't know much on the printers, I've talked with people who've tried both filament and resin styles.

Seems like filament is easier and cheaper, though you'll need to mind dust accumulation. It's not as good for detail, but the end result is more durable. Filament is more prone to jams.

You could always juxtapose the descriptions, building up appearances until they have a chance to reveal their intentions, which then can be their true nature. Sort of playing into the 'judging a book by its cover' until you then can prove that wrong!

It was all done with pencil, and I had planned to make it an arc of Rodan getting a stomach-ache from the pilot, other monsters helping Rodan solve this problem, but it never happened.

Dehydrated apples are amazing! Used to have a grocery store back home that sold them alongside a bunch of dehydrated fruits (and candied ginger), so seeing this brings me back there a little!
