I'm sure plenty of people are in the same boat as me - The reason I won't use the train has nothing to do with speed. It's because I have repeatedly been left stranded for hours halfway across the country, plans ruined not knowing how or when I'd be able to get home. Not worth the risk.

I have friends that casually use chatgpt to make a diet plan, or work out a pack list for camping etc. Without exception, the results are poor. But instead of learning a bit about what they're doing, they use chatgp again. It has ruined their capacity for curiosity, they're becoming reliant. So sad.

Am I correct in thinking that any detergent or solvent that would remove the oil based irritants from your eyes would probably cause just as much damage as the pepper spray itself?

I'm very curious about the "finding out" stage of "lets fuck about and move to a third world dictatorship with an incredibly poor human rights record to save a bit of money on tax and own the libs" and I wonder what it'll take for them to realise what they have got themselves involved with.

Drayton Wiser by far! Avoid Tado if you have an old house with proper masonry internal walls, the signal is so weak that it's unusable.

Our old bin was cracked, faded and scruffy. One very hot day I bumped in to the guys and offered them water etc. The next week we got one of these through the door "oh no it's fell in" and a shiny new bin arrived a couple of days later. Cheers lads!

I was diagnosed a few years ago, age 36. When I told my family, it turns out that I had been diagnosed with it aged 6, but my mum kept it a secret! And then when I was 14 I was given an assessment at school, but I forgot to go to the appointment and nobody ever followed it up 😩

I absolutely love Spaniels, such joy and enthusiasm. But my position on spaniels will always remain that the best way to experience them is to borrow one 😬

A customer turned up at my company with a device we'd repaired three years prior. Furious it'd failed again, threatening us with "This cost me thousands in lost work" etc. I checked on our system, they hadn't even paid the (£1200) invoice for the previous work done and had ignored all comms since!

I think a good rule is that if the you're so stuck for ideas of what present to buy someone that you end up in Tesco, then you should probably just stick them a tenner in a card instead.

These people don't live in the same observable reality to everyone else. They're thick, angry, radicalised and that's not something that can be solved by "politics" - There's nothing an honest politician can do to win them over. This has been an elephant in the room for a long time!
