I know that every time Jordan Spence has made a defensive mistake we've said "scratch incoming" but for the last month or so he hasn't been. Last night was deployed exclusively with Chabot at 5v5 and they crushed it.
I'll grudgingly credit Travis Green for eventually noticing who's good at hockey.

A Timmy goal from Zetterlund and Spence just feels nice. If the Sens do well this year it'll probably be partially because those guys are performing.

I hesitate to call anything from Andrew Sullivan "masterful", but his shit NYTimes piece is a masterclass in ladder-pulling.

Perhaps Jordan Spence would actually be outmatched defensively in unsheltered minutes (seems DJ Smith assumed so because he's so lil), but I do wonder how Sanderson would look alongside a more offensively capable defender like Spence. At least in offensive deployment.
