I started looking at those lull periods as a part of my ADHD “cycle” and it shifted my perspective. I now see it as a half rest, half discovery period where my brain takes its time to process and find new things.

I know it’s cliché to say, but there really is an energy here that can motivate you and carry you beyond what you’d think possible. I know it’s not for everyone, and it can be overwhelming at first, but if you dig your heels in, this city is indescribably comforting.
