Thoughts on Bluesky as a social: awesome design in terms of personalization. First site I've used that lets me remove the main feed algorithm. Coming from Facebook and youtube where it's forced on the users, it's a slice of heaven. Only downside is lots of lurkers, needs more content creators.

French T growing slowly up top, but seems to be doing well. I think moving it to this deep planter was the right idea. #gardening

Decided to try moving my french tarragon plants to large planters. Noticing some new growth - albeit pretty slow. #gardening

Temps are dropping, so my tropicals need to come indoors. Starting to think I may need to take the plunge and build a greenhouse. Part of me wants to just sell my home and move to the tropics #gardening

Place called "Yumee Katsu" on Old Norcross in Duluth Georgia. Same place "Thank U Chicken" was located previously. This is how eating out around twenty bucks per person should be done.

More curry tree berries. At least I managed to give some away. Still have another 40 or so to find homes. New batch is 11 sets of ~20 😬 #gardening

Two new plants that I have no idea if can overwinter in a few years: moringa , and true cardamom (a little yellow after shipping). I guess if I either obtain a giant greenhouse, or move to tropics money, I'll be set. #gardening

Pink bananas were duds. Nothing from cacao yet. Curry trees getting leafy.

Tour of basil plants - late summer. #gardening

Inspired by my luck with the curry leaf seeds, I've decided to also retry cacao. This time, I'm going with these taller nursery pots and following these instructions youtu.be/3Zp309bwIk0?...

That is really cool haha

That was quick. This usually takes about three weeks or more. I guess pulled straight off the tree the moment the ripen is the way to go. Others are starting to visibly swell. No luck on the scarified musa velutina yet. #gardening

Up to 4x18 a- 72 curry trees and 2x18 --36 bananas. I shouldn't get -100% germination, but we'll see

Log entry: 48 curry trees planted so far. I've been harvesting as they ripen to outrun the birds. Not seeing any green poking out of the soil yet (usually around 3 weeks). Enclosure fan burned out, so needs to be replaced. #gardening

Deadheaded my sweet basil, and gave it some fertilizer. Very rough cut, so planning to separate the green and brown to make pesto.

Attempting to scarify 36 seeds - first time attempt. Opted for podiatrist toenail clippers due to the curved pointed end, and the precision that comes in this style of grip.

More tedium inbound. Each of these little buggers contain clusters of seeds, not singles. I guess it also explains why little volunteers have begun popping up in the spicy globe's container surrounding the mother plant. #gardening

Loblolly pine progress. Seeing this growth on the trunk, and hoping it's normal #gardening

Havesting. The first is spicy globe basil I deadheaded. Grabbing my optivisor in a bit to see if the seeds can be separated. Second is a curry leaf seed. Seeing a little root present, so thinking germination will be certain. Planted twelve so far. #gardening
