I got carried away with the translator bot, but only so we can get PVTCH out the door on the Friday stream.

I'm also digging into the OAuth flow. I'd like an id-only / no email scope so we can secure the endpoints without ever touching an email.

But that's a tomorrow-me problem

On stream, we run a bot that translates to & from English in order to make our stream more accessible to devs who don’t have English as a primary language.

But that bot is going away. :/

After we finish the progress bar work for PVTCH, I think this is a problem worth solving.

So here’s the birthday plan. We’re gonna build three “jumpscare” buttons in @firebot.app, but only one has the jumpscare. After all three buttons are pressed, the cooldown starts and the scare shuffles.

So you’ll either need to mash all the buttons or have a bit of luck. 🩵

My fav part about trying to stream games is realizing how much I don’t check chat while I’m locked in. It’s way easier to read chat while programming!

So here’s the thing. I promised my chat I’d let them enable the “Hotdog Stand” vscode theme if I ever did a charity stream.

Yeah… Now it’s a whole hotdog themed event.

Still working on the overlay, day-of-event you can donate & unlock some of the worlds’ most cursed hotdogs for me to eat.
