Ex-volunteer fire fighter here. Usually fire companies try to get as much equipment rolling and at a scene. Never know what to expect and it saves lives to be prepared.
Plus, it's exciting to respond to an actual fire and play with shiny cool equipment. We are just big kids really 😃
