Reflecting on 2025, I really wouldn't have been able to survive such an utter shitshow of a year if not for all the friends I've made in Japan and abroad. I'm so greatful to know such great pals.

One thing that particularly gets under my skin in Tokyo is how many ads I see on trains, mobile, or in the city using "pixel art" that was clearly not drawn by a pixel artist. Even worse is coming across ads using ai pixel art.
Every instance is an opportunity taken away from real pixel artists.
