This little shit was dragging her claws across my skin very slowly to get my attention. When I pulled out my phone she instinctively knew to hide. I caught her a few seconds later when she thought I was distracted.

We have a nice flock of European collared doves that visit the feeder but we also have one that’s leucistic. She’s got large parts of her body that are white instead of gray. #birds 🪶

An ID on a bird I’ve never seen before. It’s called a Townsend’s Solitaire. They’re known for eating juniper berries in the winter and we’ve got some in the area. I’m sure they might give these olive trees a try though. I like the little shock of color on the wing that stands out a bit. #birds 🪶
