Went on a training hike at Kent Island, Maryland today. The weather wasn't the best, but I saw this Great Blue Heron who was also trying to stay warm.

I should start a side hustle selling propagated cuttings from the monster office Dieffenbachia. These are all stems that have fallen off and have grown new roots in a bucket of water.

I bought a cheap gym bag from Walmart that has this great gibberish label.

A small neighbor child dropped off a plate of Christmas cookies. This almost makes up being on neighbors' group chat for another year.

We had to replace our faucet filter and this time the model with black plastic was cheaper than the fake chrome. Something was slightly off-putting about design, but I didn't realize what until my kid asked "Why do we have a xenomorph water filter now?"
