Update: Having lost my gallbladder to the cancer, it seems it then looped back around (I'm being metaphorical) and hadn't actually forgotten my kidneys, which have now been consumed by the mass. I start dialysis next week, and it's not unreasonable that I could be in palliative by the end of April.
