Good you've been staying busy though! Critter Drifters, the kart racer game I did a few songs for just released so that's been exciting. And I also have a new project I've started that if all goes as planned, I'll have a video out about it before the end of the year. Hope all is well with you Kate!

Oh haha 😅 well I guess I never thought about it possibly being a placeholder palette. Shows I'm not a game dev 😜

I love this monochrome color palette! Can't wait to see more Kate! 😁

I'm partial to more cool colors myself, but I'm really digging that orange house! 😁

I couldn't agree and love your use of flow state when talking about the mechanics. It's always cool to see a developer get down to the basics about what makes a game fun. If you are fighting the controls or mechanics of the game constantly, it can be super off putting. Definitely feeling the cozy!!

You're very welcome 👍😁

Yes dude! Love that 😁

And yes I think they should matter. I love details like that in a game. Bouncing off an enemy straight into a dive like that conserves momentum and looks very fluid. It combines movement and combat in a way that looks fun to pull off. BTW the game looks incredible. Love the way the swimming looks! 😁

I'm interested in what you mean by rewarding the player in this case. Thinking about player motivation for doing something is important. Sometimes if satisfying enough, I think doing the action itself could be rewarding enough, but I think it definitely depends on the game.

Oh that's sick. Nice work! Love the clothing
