Last week, I released a huge update for Spot Squid that lets shops pre-book time slots for events.

They completely sold out the event in a few hours! Was awesome having a chance to stop by the event and see everything humming along in person.

"It was incredible. So smooth. Everyone loved it..." 😤

So glad my trip to Amsterdam was so much easier than last time. Ready to kick things off at #RailsWorld

Merged a few hotfixes before review this morning and was trying to make a Cowboy Coding joke when sending an update.

I attempted to put my face on Cowboy Curtis but ended up with this abomination and I can't stop laughing at it.

Yes! There's even a spot at the top where you can strike the Rocky pose with the skyline in the background.

With #RailsConf about a month away, I've been doing some reminiscing about my Philly days.

Spent my 30th birthday at National Mechanics for the Weblinc holiday party and the Careless Whisper sax guy played Happy Birthday for me 😆

Flying out for Rails World a couple of days early to spend some time in Europe.

A Ruby tattoo has been on my list for a long time.

I thew out this idea to my tattoo artist a few months ago and after floating out a couple of ideas for my appointment, this was the one he wanted to do the most.

So stoked with how it turned out!

Standing on the top of my rickety half pipe built from lumber scraps I could pilfer doing construction work in the summer.

Bleached blonde hair thanks to 311's Nick Hexum along with the ever-stylish jean shorts.

Taken sometime around 1997.

It’s my geodesic dome shed the previous owners built.

For scale, the door is about 6ft and has power. Love this thing.

Comes with a pretty sweet view too!

No power at the house today while getting some electrical work done. Tethering to my phone and working from my laptop. Still beats a coworking space

Same here. My wife even has this tattoo

Not quite a flamethrower but I too am sick of throwing out de-icer and shoveling

Got to spend the last birthday of my 30's hanging out in a tattoo shop.

Here's a shot of my pulling out the bird.

Also try to do a duck around Christmas time. Last year I accidentally bought a goose (long story) and did a traditional roasted goose.

I realize what a bad idea this was but was the only level spot without ice I could find. Still, once of the best ones I've done and didn't blow myself up or die from fumes in the shed.

Here's to more bad decisions next Thanksgiving.

Crispy skin and juicy meat. I’ll never go back at this point.

Plus, you don’t have the oven tied up all day and is only in the fryer for about 45 mins.

Got my upgraded Turkey Fryer setup in time for Thanksgiving. Last year, I was having a ton of issues with the regulator and had to tape down the safety valve 😂

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn’t Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains

I do the same and also have a travel kettle!

The only downside is it seems like TSA always searches my bags when the whole kit is in my checked luggage.

Now that I think about it, I guess the empty spots are nil ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

There's a traditional design called the Prisoner of Love and was going to swap the heart for a Ruby gem
