We prefer to suppress things, bury it deep in the hope it'll go away, but it rarely does. It can be difficult to speak openly about our feelings, but not speaking rarely has a positive outcome. It's so important to ask for help. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but it could change your life forever.

A year later, however, I am living a completely different life. I have completely turned my life around and am so, so proud of everything that I've achieved this year, none of which would be possible had I not asked for help. As men, we tend not to talk openly about things.
