It's so fascinating to me because Barbeloth was so insistent that it wasn't HER that pointed him away from the role of the hero. It was FATE. So to me, it reads even more like both he and Childe would have fit into the hero role and WANTED it but were pushed away from it

I've always wondered why Childe has a voiceline about Varka. Seemed so random - where's their connection? How is this significant enough to deserve a voiceline?
