Caregiver fatigue is so common and people don't realize it. I'm really sorry you're in that situation right now.

They know that in a day or a week or a month, people aren't going to remember that one side had receipts to back up their argument or what those sources were. They will just remember that two people were arguing.

And that's the goal, to waste your time. They aren't interested in an honest discussion where their minds might be changed. They want to create the illusion of a debate.

They want other people to see that people are arguing about the topic and therefore both sides must have valid perspectives.

I blocked and moved on on all platforms when I heard how shitty he was being. Fuck that shit.

A lot of cemeteries have memorials where you can put up a plaque for someone who was cremated but not interred there. Still lots of options for humour.
