and also with netflixvania anime.... imo its HUGELY different from the games in terms of characterisation and themes (alot of games fans dislike it lolllll) so i generally consider it separate from the games. this is just to say that these are lowkey separate fandoms and lore LMAO

anyways autism activated but LOREWISE its not really too heavy? basically wife died, dracula becomes vampire, belmonts swear to kill him. new wife (Lisa <- important. has kid with her). she gets killed, dracula says fuck all humans and the belmonts have to stop them along with other friends

honestlyyyyy i dont think he would. i feel like hed dislike being in such a position and like due to the reaper reputation still being.. around. i feel its unlikely he would be considered for it and depending on how much later ur talking he'd probably be too young if hes still 30-ish

im trying to microdose on posting my fic so that i wont chicken out when i finish. here is a wip (liz is my lady baskerville) mayyyy delete later if i get scared but anyways
Barok suddenly jumped out of bed and ran over to his table placed at the far wall. Though it was dark, and one could barely see much away from the small light by his bed, it seemed he knew what he was searching for. Soon, he came back and sheepishly presented Liz a small wooden figure. 'What's this?' she asked. 'It's Balmung,' Barok said. 'I thought I'd forgotten where I left him.' He frowned and he averted his eyes to the floor. 'I tend to lose my things. I worried that I would have lost him before I could show you.' Liz took the figure from his hands and observed it. She recalled telling him, as she was watching him make something else, that he should make another one of Balmung again now that he was a much bigger dog. At the time, he merely mumbled a small 'okay' and went back to his work. It was much more detailed than his first one, which had been nearly a year ago when Balmung was still a small puppy. It's snout was much more defined, and the ears far better shaped. He had even included the collar, with all it's small pieces represented in it. And it was even carefully painted too. Barok had certainly grown so much in skill since then, and he will probably continue to get better. If only Klint had just stuck with it—he would probably have a hobby to keep himself entertained. 'It's very cute, darling,' she said, putting it on the bedside table. 'It is very nice of you to make one for me.'
