Shit life here in Spain but gets to go for walks. Pays for hiking boots and cat food by making signs
That sums me up
Maybe we tried too hard to drag people too far away from their roots.
If brought up in a sexist or racist household a sudden change like Kamela Harris (after Obama - amazing, Hillary - hmm) is a shock.

I worry we bring it on ourselves, assuming people follow what we feel
(sorry - drunk thoughts)

Congratulations! Walking made a big difference for me - I lost 20kg - and it can become something you enjoy, not just a way to lose weight. You might find yourself walking just to walk. It's amazing how much more you notice on foot - so many things you'd never see from a car.

It's quite a unique and enigmatic presence. You keep popping up on my feed with things that really make me think - and I appreciate that.
Tomorrow will be a tough one for me, so it's been a spark of intrigue in my day. 😏

I can see the advantage of that trait, but still, in the sea, I'd worry about trading a noseful of water for a mouthful. Guess you win some, you lose some! 🫢

You are right, like nuclear fission power. Yet other things seemingly prohibitively expensive end up economical. Take the charged couple device for example. Developed for astronomy and spy satellites yet now you have them everywhere, it's your phone camera.
Or solar panels, ICs, lasers etc

Deuterium is easy and cheap.
Tritium is more of a problem but the plan is that the fusion reactor will "breed" its own tritium.
Currently I think there is very little of it but once the fusion reactors are up working they should be self sustaining
