As Heather Cox Richardson just said, what is striking about these emails is the sense of entitlement and impunity oozing from ALL the participants.

And she thinks that this vivid display of "the swamp" ecosystem may finally reach the MAGA minds.

Note that the distance rules out direct blood droplets or other organic matter.

I didn't see metal schrapnel (the bullet or a part) formally ruled out.

Well, "close" is relative. He was closer than most people. It is understandable that some reports said close.

Well, I read that Corey Comperatore was 25m away from Trump.
(also on the wikipedia drawing commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:As... )

And studies seem to indicate it is impossible for a bone fragment to reach more than 10 meters in forward splatter.

So more research is needed I guess...

I must say this is the most likely explanation I have read.

It would have been impossible to have Trump participate in a staged event without him never alluding to it, especially now with his level of dementia.

Looks like Trump was sincerely believing he had been hit.

November 13, 2025 at 9:07 AM

Yes! science has no borders. There has been a lot of nationalities involved in scientific progress in the US, as well as US researchers working abroad (notably at CERN).

In the comments: "American talent split the atom and went to the moon."

Well... The US SaturnV program was led by Germans: Werner Von Braun, with 120 German engineers in Operation Paperclip.

And there were nearly no US citizen involved in finding subatomic particles.

PS: De Gaulle saw the danger, and made France bail out of this US trap by exchanging all France dollars for gold, before the US closed the loophole by making the dollar not convertible to gold (after having siphoned Europe's gold via the Marshall plan)

But most of them do not think they will succeed. So they now plunder as much money as they can before the midterms, probably moving their money out of the US before then.

If the Democrats win in 2026, they will inherit a ruined country, the GOP trying to pass the blame on them.

But this is short-term economic destruction. Their bet is that it will pay in the long term, but they must stay in power till then. So it is essential for them to remove democracy to not be voted out.

A North Korea economy implies a North Korea political regime.

Basically they try to drive the change of the US being a nation of consumers, exporting money, but hyper-dependent of other for essential goods, to a nation self-sufficient, North Korea style.

Hence the push to build factories on US soil.

Some of his enablers seem aware of this, and try to make the USA switch to a different paradigm without too much damage, while keeping Trump distracted.

Their fear is that others countries retaliate by accepting other currencies (Yuan, Euro, ...)

The US invades oil producers (next: Venezuela) not really to seize their oil, but to keep them only selling their oil in dollars.

Trump is too idiot to have understood this, and by chasing a imaginary trade deficit, is collapsing the whole US economy paradigm.
