What are your thoughts on the Etrian Odyssey series? As a Wizardry fan myself, I found EO to be absolutely stellar.

There's a cool rule in the game "Orpheus Protocol" called Borrowed Time - which basically says if you fail a check that'll lead to your death, but it's lame for the story, you don't die, but instead work with your GM to work out a satisfying narrative solution, even if you truck along for a while.

Atomic Purple is the best colour for electronics and I will die on this hill.

Loved the Magician Apprentice series. Had the first two as a kid and eventually tracked down the rest later.
