speaking of tasty visuals, i just went to see superman and the colors are really nice (among other things that r nice abt it).. the bleeding colors motion blur thing and the glam filter with the astigmatism experience set to 100... reminded me of the art in de (reaching a bit)

theres a special place in my heart for characters that have a certain puzzling(?) doggedness to them (e.g. ichi and his hunts), esp when its contrasted with an outwards timidness (suletta, yutakun...), but ichi s feral child behavior is also a good contrast....
