I would be right there with you if we didn’t use automation in every other aspect of our lives. The introduction of the internet caused the exact same upheaval in the workplace. I think understanding coding language will still be essential, you just won’t need every coder to have the same expertise.

I have quite a few friends at massive corporations who have barely written a line of code in the last year and are shipping very lucrative software. It’s also great at cleaning up old code bases and helping speed up web design. I’ve seen that first hand.
