Something I’ve just learned: every color has the same exact amount of commons and uncommons? That’s amazing! I imagine the cards that made the final cut probably beat out a ton of competition. The “draft chaff” look more precious now

According to Scryfall, 271 cards from SET:TDM are in boosters. It’s unlikely that the SPG cards will show up, but luckily five of them are fetches. In addition, 16 of them are lands. Cutting them, adding the ultimatums, there are 262 cards to learn

This is so when I see a card, I can know what it does, and I can expect what my opp will have. At the OTJ prerelease, my first opponent sideboarded in one of their special guest cards that wiped my board. I did not know that Supreme Verdict was, in fact, not an OTJ special guest card lmao

I work in theatre, so luckily my friends and colleagues are all very capable with Helping Me Memorize Stuff
