Living in Vermont. Mostly here for Phish talk and vinyl record collecting. Spinning records from the never ending search.
When The Royal Scam was released they pressed a translucent yellow version in Canada. I finally saw one had to buy it even though I am supposed to be on a break from buying records. Scrolling What Not and there it was. A beautiful NM copy. Perfectly flat and dead quiet.

Bert Jansch-Jack Orion. 1971 1st US press of this 1966 UK release. Great record. You can tell why he was so influential when you listen to this.Jimmy Page almost not for note ripped off his arrangement of Black River Side and just changed the name to Black Mountain Side. He should have been credited

Up next this newly acquired 1977 repress. Why did I invest in another copy of LZ I? Because I really do have a problem. Also this is probably the cleanest sounding copy I have. These 1977 pressings really sound great and are much easier to find clean than the older ones. #nowspinning

Starting off the Friday work from home sessions with this great 1968 Blues Compilation. Really nice release from a label that didn’t last all that long #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

Getting the Friday work from home sessions rolling with this recent find. If you are building a collection just keep digging. It is amazing what you stumble in to in the wild. This album is like a security blanket. It is always what I need. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

@nowspinning the brilliant Dick Gregory. Recorded live in 1969 at the height of the Vietnam War, the turmoil of the civil rights movement and assassinations, A.I.M, and the other social and political upheaval of the time. It is remarkable how relevant this is 56 years later. I am sitting here/1

Marble Phrogg 1969 1st pressing. One of the rarest grail’s of the psych era records. 1969 OG press. There were supposedly only 200+/- pressed and this one was the first I had ever seen. I think I may sell this copy. A serious psych collector should have this. #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

On a beach in South Jersey, Bruce is playing from a beach speaker in the distance somewhere. And I am reading this. Pretty nice day.

The Monkees- Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. 1967 1st press. This is a surprisingly good record. A really solid late 60’s psych/folk record. Check it out.

Pink Floyd-A Saucerful of Secrets 1968 Netherlands pressing with red Columbia label. I found this absolutely mint copy randomly on fb marketplace while traveling in upstate NY this week. Pretty rare pressing and it is in perfect condition. Lucky find. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

Dire Straits-1978 1st US. #nowspinning some recent finds this afternoon. Side 2 of this record is really an amazing album side. Found this on WhatNot for $5 in NM condition. If you are building a collection you can really find some great deals on there if you are careful. #vinylcommunity

A little Morning Miles. 1961 original mono press. A little marked up but these old Columbia 6-eyes really hold up. I found this on Whatnot. Anyone else have any luck buying on the Whatnot ap? #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

SRC- Self Titled 1968. Found this in the wild over the weekend. 1st time I have seen it. Pretty cool psych album out of Detroit on Capitol. They made 3 albums and then disappeared. Really interesting stuff. The opening track Black Sheep is the star. Great cover art. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

RIP #Ozzy. Released when I was 14, it blew my mind. I was obsessed with it. It practically never left my Sony Walkman for a year. This promo copy with CBS press pack was a lucky find and one of my prized records in my collection. It is blasting out of my speakers today #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

Gram Parsons- Grievous Angel #nowspinning. Nice clean early repress. What great record featuring Emmylou, Linda Ronstadt, the great Bernie Leadon and Al Perkins on slide guitar. #vinylcommunity

Gerry Mulligan Quartet 1952 10”. The first release by Pacific Jazz Records. Interesting stuff on here. A jazz quartet with no piano. Worth checking out for the young Chet Baker’s contribution. Can be found pretty cheap if you look. Sounds pretty good for 73yo record. #nowspinning #vinylcommunity

#nowspinning Miles Davis Kind of Blue. This 1959 mono 1st pressing came from a crate dig at a small shop in NH. It is one of my most priced records. My advice is to look through every pile you come across because you just never know. #vinylcommunity

Another great and often forgotten SF psych band. This is their 3rd album and this one and their 1st are both worth having and can be found cheap. I really like this album. This copy is a 1A/1A 1st press but its a mess and I really need an upgrade. #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

This is pretty interesting album to come of the San Fran music scene in the late 60’s. He’s mostly forgotten these days. You can pick up the record pretty cheap and they are worth checking out. This is an early 70’s repress that I need to upgrade but it sounds Ok. #vinylcommunity #nowspinning

Now spinning Rory Gallagher Deuce. This is an excellent mostly forgotten record that you should check out if you can find one. Rory was an absolute god on the Strat.
