Yet to see it admittedly. Feburary is a podcast highlight, the obligatory Yogscast publisher highlight, and then the special Valentines streams they did last year as well. It's just less streams so far.

It's only allowed if Dan Clancy can goon to it

"Just like we use google and art books". That's exactly what I don't want to hear. Paying a fraction of the cost to an AI provider that's illegally sucked everything up, because you don't want to actually pay people for the references they make.

If it's just a simple rating, I'll usually slap down a 5.

If it's writing answers in, then no, and the DVLA is the winner for the only time I've ever sworn in one of those forms.

To be fair, those margins are slim as is (hardware hasn't gotten a huge amount cheaper unfortunately) and the tariffs thrown on top of years of inflation hasn't helped.

Even a loss like $10 on each console would mean they're losing $200m on them a year, a rise like this in the US was inevitable.

I've got a painting I made on the wall. I somehow got the colours of the sky and the lake mixed up, and it looks kinda crap, but the process of doing it is just so rewarding.

People are being pushed to assume you can't have fun with failure, and that's a real shame.

To be fair, "Losing access to a car would financially ruin them" is an argument I've seen from people who don't want to lose their license which somehow does gain them leniency.

Almost like the courts are a joke.

Age gated content on YouTube is extremely rare to come across, so not all that concerned yet.

These changes are largely to prevent them collecting personal data on underage users. YouTube have gotten some serious fines before for it and they're scared of more.

Of course, but at a certain point what option do you have?

The only 2 major parties are both absolute failures through and through. At least if Reform stick to what they're saying and push through proportional rep, then we won't be stuck circling the drain until the end of time.

This has very heavy media bias. Yes, Corbyn got far less seats than Starmer, but Starmer only got the seats because Reform took votes from Conservatives.

Corbyn got 32.1% of votes, Starmer got 33.7% of votes.

The idea that he can't pull enough people away to matter is a lie.

The image isn't stored, it's just the record that you've passed which companies can request which is kept for 6 months.

Just because you have to comply with the law doesn't mean you need to dress it up.

You aren't legally required to pretend it's about 'protecting the children'. That's a choice you make as a company to bend over and [Verify your age to read rest of message]

Per their policy, facial age estimation images are deleted immediately after the check. All data is stored on UK based servers or UK based AWS buckets. Record of result is stored for up to 6 months or until deletion is requested.

They really need to call their bluff. Geo-block the entire of the UK overnight and see how quickly the concessions will come.

Today in wasp advice:

If you see wasps that seem to be nesting or clustering around your building, leave them! A lot of the time they're just setting up temporary residence and they'll be on their way shortly.
