Tonight's game of Barrowmaze 5E involved a confrontation with the Keeper of the Tablet of Chaos (who teleported away), 2 demons, and 4 necromantic acolytes of Nergal. It took about 2 hours to run 10-20 minutes of combat, then the PCs needed a long rest . . . Sigh . . .

Tonight's DCC RPG was session 2 of "The Sacrificial Pyre of Thracia" - more adventures in the volcano lair of a death-cult! Found some dog-headed allies, freed some prisoners, and killed some evil cultists - all in all, a good game!

Started this bad boy tonight - 5 first level adventurers (one of each class except Thief [absent] and Halfling) tracked a cult of death-worshippers to their lair, and just captured a prisoner to interrogate when we ended the session for tonight . . .

Finished "Grave Robbers of Thracia" last night . . . Next up will be "The Sacrificial Pyre of Thracia," I think. For about half of my players, this will be their first time playing in a DCC RPG game that isn't a funnel!
