Boring middle aged dad and all around dude.
I know it’s anecdotal, but I remember talking about it to my grandfather who had grown up suing horses on the farm and his comment was that horses were way more dangerous than cars. Might hyperbolic, but he was a farmer, and when someone in such a dangerous job says something is dangerous well….

I have always made poor automotive decisions out of love for bad cars, but they have been the sort of decisions that are limited by the cash available to me at the time. I seriously don’t know where the dudes in their 20s where I live are getting the money for lift kits and big tires for trucks.

This is absolutely one of the coolest looking couples I’ve ever seen on red carpet.

How many people would still be alive in 5 years of the worm had eaten a little faster? All these monsters are putting themselves on one side of the tracks in the Trolley Problem moral question and I don’t know what else to say.

It’s as if the buggy-whip manufacturers had some evil cartel that was destroying the planet and Republicans (and way too many democrats) were prostrating themselves for some of that sweet buggy-whip money.

I’m ambivalent about roundabouts, they seem like they were conceived without things like American Oversized load semis in mind, but they do give the entertainment of watching someone manage to not pay attention to what is going on and just do the ol’ Dukes of Hazard off of one.

I feel like this is not going to go the way Hegseth thinks it is.

I cannot imagine thinking that this would be good for morale in *any organization, much less one where employees have understaffed and used as pawns.

Democrats need to just tear into Republicans so hard that in the time of the founders the Republican would be saying to themselves “Oh my god, now I have to call them out for a duel or everyone will know I’m just a silk stocking stuffed with shit. God, I suck at pistols AND swords”

It wasn’t until my 40’s that I realized just how MASSIVELY underrated Thin Lizzy was. I was always listening to 60s-70s rock growing up, but for some reason I classified them as cheesy in my head but holy hell I was wrong.

I don’t think this guy even buys his own shampoo, much less makes important healthcare decisions like “I’m having chest pains, do I go to the emergency room and spend 3 months with of take home pay to find out if it’s nothing, or do I just hope it’s nothing and go to bed.”
