I agree on this. I have attended a Rise game- it has clearly hit a niche in the sport supporter world. People are attending for reasons that are interesting from my lens as a long time person in our game. It’s incredibly positive and fascinating at the same time.

I lived in Pt Grey in the late 60s and 70s. My older brothers used to speak of the Dunbar Greaseballs (black and green Mac jacks) and the Kerrisdale Greaseballs (red and grey mac jacks) “rumbling” on the reservoir in the endowment lands.
