This is exactly the problem with FPTP. We have a parliamentary system in the UK and I for one do not believe it is fit for purpose in this 21st century in which we are all living. Introduce PR (NZ version is best IMHO) with safeguarding so that when these events occur, MP’s can be removed.

Absolutely of course the FIFA World Cup should be boycotted and that sycophantic FIFA peace prize should be withdrawn. Also Infantino isn’t exactly innocent in this fiasco. He should consider his position too. #makehumanitygreatagain
