It’s a geographical point. By far the most densely populated part of the isles is the land closest to continental Europe.

The other thing about private healthcare, is that it’s a lot cheaper in countries where the competition is free healthcare!

It mostly looks like England’s population exploded as a result of the Industrial Revolution, which would make sense given that it is the nation closest to mainland Europe.

I honestly thought that was some Viz magazine parody - couldn’t stop laughing at ‘cheese with peanuts’ 😂

All Bristol trains are extortionate. I have to go once a month as part of my job, thankfully it’s not my office so I claim it on the company

It’d be ironic if Parliament set fire because of a stray firework

That’s actually quite clever because it’s a French word. Nobody would guess that!

Given that scissors and trousers are quite clearly connected at a single point, they should come in bunches like bananas, keys, and flowers.

Last year I tapped the guy who sat next to me in the office and showed him my computer screen. It was a webpage covered in funeral plans and coffins. I said to him - a man in his thirties - that this is what the internet looks like when you hit your forties. ⚰️💀

Internet algorithms: This person has just spent a grand on a king size mattress with 10 year guarantee. Let’s see how many more king size mattresses they would like to purchase over the next ten years.

lol. I didn’t even know what you were referring to when I wrote that post above!

That’s a very good point. It’s not the sort of ‘I got drunk on holiday with my mates and we all got the same tattoo that I regret’ sort of tattoo.

If it is, and you have a multitude of them, you have a ‘getting blottoed on holiday with my nazi mates’ problem

Currently the state of California are suing the owners of Stake for providing online gambling to Californians. That case will be interesting to keep an eye on, as it may show a precedent for the UK in stopping black market operators despite the use of VPNs and offshore accounts/cryptocurrencies.

Correct. My hunch is that online and retail tax will be 30%.

The Gambling Commission set maximum stakes to £2 for under 25’s, and £5 for over 25’s this year. Alongside max monthly losses of £100 average per year.

The likes of Stake (team Sauber in F1) prey on gamblers locked out by regulators.

It’s the proposed 150% increase in online tax that may drive people to unregulated sites such as Stake (the world’s largest & bigger than any regulated site)

Germany set taxes so high it’s impossible to make revenue without paying less to players. 50% of German gamblers do so on the black market.

He still denies it though. But also I’ve yet to read of any witness coming forward who served him and his family at Pizza Express 🧐
