It's duck hunting season for Rufus! He is feeling much better now after being diagnosed with anaplasmosis two weeks ago, the poor little guy!

Rufus is becoming less afraid of Pumpkin, and Pumpkin is being less of a jerk to Rufus! It only took a year for her to chill out a bit!!!

The cat family (Lord Byron, Cyrano, and their mom Pumpkin) settled in nicely. They are getting along pretty well with original cat Gus. Pumpkin is nicer to Gus than she is her own kids. (She's not a very good mom.)

Rough week - Iris crossed the rainbow bridge two days ago at 13 years old. She was such a wonderful lady. She had so many health issues over her life that making it 13 years was a gift, so I'm trying to focus on the good times. She was a very special girl and she is greatly loved and missed.
