This isn’t true, Arcade Infinity had 2 legit kits on launch and an arcade at a college in Dayton Ohio of all places had a legit kit within the same time window. This was before the bootlegs hit (but not by long)

I’m actually not sure, maybe something tied to production? It seems to only be something they do with the angel vs devil sets though so I dunno. Definitely irritating regardless. There’s another new series coming in May too and I’m sure it’s gonna be the same thing.

Probably only available in western Japan right now, it’s pretty standard for them to do the initial launch like that and roll out nationwide later. You can’t even get them at retail price on Amazon right now though so I’m not 100% sure what the deal is.
