This design pays respect to the mission of the book and the characters in it, a belief that there can be a better future. This shirt was designed to look like a national park or nature conservation shirt at first glance, calling to mind the spaces Katniss feels most at peace and safe.

After the dust of rebellion settles, there is still a long road to go before Panem can heal from the cruelty of the capital. The mockingjays and Katniss are both symbols for the rebellion and also living beings in need of a protected future to grow and thrive.
