I genuinely wonder how many times this boat has been in the snow. Back in 1971, some multi-millionaire prob owned this boat who could prob afford to constantly travel. It would have been cool to see a history of all the places she’s been.

Got to go up and see the Smoky Mountains today! Really beautiful. We’re heading back home a day early. We’re kinda ready to go sleep in our own beds tonight. Surprising that I wasn’t able to find any good food over here, everything was disappointing. I’d love to come back and spend more time though.

Spending the evening doing some maintenance on the camper before we head to Tennessee for thanksgiving. Greased all the things, handled some rust, filled up the tires, resealed a few things. All the stuff. :)

Another good brisket outta the smoker!! We had sandwiches with bay-b-que sauce last night! Gunna put some aside for a brisket hamburger helper night and some for tonight’s Brisket Bourguignon.

Fueling up for the winter! We installed two diesel heaters for the boat (much cheaper and efficient than electric heat). Putting about 300 gallons of diesel in her to ride out the winter.

Whoops, accidentally bought the wrong color and didn’t realize til it was on my head. Normally I got a lil more violet but I guess my fur is purple for now lol.

Smoked some ribs last night for dinner! Turned out really good! Smoked for 3 hours but overall slow cooked for 6 in total at 225. :)

One thing that impresses me with this iPhone camera is that it doesn’t get blurry when I take photos while walking. My old Pixel Pro didn’t really do a great job at that.

The TV is mounted with a wood frame that’s wedged/screwed into the floor/ceiling for stability in rough seas. Used to have a piano covering the bottom, but now that we sold it we needed to make it look like a nice mount. So Twitchy modeled and 3D printed our boat and we dreamed up this little thing

There is a phrase in boat life - B.O.A.T. - Bust Out Another Thousand. Our main 2400btu AC died on us today with an internal coolant leak. Gonna try and do a franken-AC repair, but if that doesn't work, it's going to be 2-3 grand to replace. Just like owning a house - boat repairs are annoying, too.

I told @twitchy.bsky.social at megaplex I wasn't gunna pretend to be clicker trained so a few days ago she attached this clicker to my collar and has been using it more often. She won't take it off me tho....been 3 days now of it attached to me. I guess this is now a new fashion accessory. Lol

Ya'll....I'm loving MD summer. I hear this isn't the norm - but it's been pretty temperate for my first year up here. I'm sure my first winter will kick my ass though, still haven't seen snow in like 15 years.

We had a great time at epic universe! Got to do everything in the park in just under 5 hours! It was super cool!
