The actions of this so called leader have often been tied to deadly actions in our nation. These are choices being made by people who know better and choose to divide and hurt fellow citizens and children of God.
This is a reminder that for as far as we have come, we still have far to go.

The bigoted actions like those of GOP leader Bobbie Coleman of Hardin Co., depicting Black people as apes is sickening and should have no place in our politics, country, commonwealth, or communities, and says more about the character of those who use it than those who it is directed towards.

The dehumanization of President and First Lady Obama as apes is not only offensive and reprehensible, it’s a reminder of how lazy and mediocre racists and racism is, especially when compared to its targets.
