Into classic cars, Star Trek, progressive politics, and rum. Views here are my own —especially the bad and cynical ones.
I feel bad for the next Dem president. With Trump gone, big legacy media will suddenly find its spine again and it will get very nasty.

When a person says “I love my adult child but—“ you know there’s some hate and judgment coming.

No one with a modicum of decency or self-respect should be caught on film standing behind the vile man.

Because in one mean tweet Trump completely dismantled whatever moral righteousness they thought they achieved in the aftermath of Kirk.

Trump has missed nearly 80 years worth of opportunities to “rise above it.” That’s not what he does.

That’s also an amazing cover.

That Trump has been propped up for so long while being so sick and depraved should stand as a condemnation of anyone who has ever enabled him with a handshake or a kind word.

“Party leaders” need to zip it

There’s something about a big hefty chain of keys dangling from the ignition and occasionally hitting your knee that was comforting

I had to look up “sealioning.” I can see your point.

As someone who has been told to "grow up" or "act your age" at various points in my life, and the shame it caused, I don't think they were asking me to be more responsibe.
December 9, 2025 at 10:33 PM
Also, kids have responsibilities, too. Every morning, I watch my son walk into kindergarten with his backpack on, with all kinds of expectations and rules waiting for him. Frankly, children don’t get away with much. It’s only when we become adults that we have the freedom to act like asses.

Telling men to “grow up” sends a message that they should disconnect from a part of themselves that holds joy, playfulness, curiosity, vulnerability, etc.. I’d argue that men should connect more with that part of themselves and stop taking adulthood so seriously.

The long game, for obvious reasons, favors the majority. The people aren’t behind the kind of oligarchical power grab and dismantling of institutions we’re witnessing. I just fear how permanent the damage will be.
December 7, 2025 at 3:27 PM
That these GOP hacks have succeeded in getting the media to bite on these absurd narratives is maddening it itself.

If this poster is any indication of the direction the series is going, hard no.

Sadly, a great number of Americans are this stupid, and all Tom Cotton and his ilk care about it holding on to them.

Someone should ask the CEOs in attendance if they agree.
