Fireworks going off like crazy last night. Big dog scared. Little dog–holy terror–out on the lawn barking at them to go away 😆 He shows no fear. Being 14 probably helps as he's seen it all...

It's dreadful when a cat disappears but must be so good when they return. I adopted Letty from NCAR a few years ago and after 5 years she went out and never returned 😢 Tried everything to find her. She was the sweetest girl and normally so reliable. 2 dogs now but still miss having cats.

My small area of natural biodiversity (otherwise know as my garden) might be a nightmare for humans but for Alfie the elderly rescue dog it's a fascinating place ripe for exploration 😍

14 year old Alfie has settled in very well! And finally managed to take a decent photo of him. And old dogs have so much character! Never had a small dog before so such a novelty. Getting on fine with Mori my other dog.

Fostering a 14 year old Patterdale. He's checked out the premises and seems satisfied 😆 Certainly likes the bed. This was not planned! At all!
But he's too old for kennels and deserves his home comforts. My other dog Mori is quite taken with him and I've always had a thing for elderly grey dogs 😍
